I'm pretty sure the stupidity of the high-school visitors was contagious, because people around here have been slower and dumber than usual. I'm working on a new theory about how the elevators here work. If you have a full elevator, it will stop on every floor trying to pick up more people. If the elevator is relatively empty, it will go to its destination without a single stop. This seems to happen regardless if it's near the hour(people going to and from classes). I've also learned to get on elevators going down from the lobby when I want to go up, because it takes exactly 1 second to go from lobby to ground and I'll have the elevator to myself on the way up.
In school news, it's been a pretty good midterm for me. My English paper for Friday is done, and probably better than my other papers. I got an 18 out of 20 on my Chemistry exam, and a 98% on my Japanese test. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten the Chem exam perfect if I had done the online review, but it is still an A and I know what to do for future exams. For the Japanese test I just messed up the stroke order for mo. Still no test or major assignments in Enterprise. I'm pretty sure that I'll change my major to Business Information Systems. This may sound boring to others, but for some reason it appeals to me. Not that I care what you think anyway.

Hey, everyone thought I was crazy for choosing a poli sci major, and I'm having a blast and a half, so nyah to them. :) Business Information Systems sounds kind of cool to me, actually, I'd be interested in knowing exactly what that is and how it goes down. Of course, that may just be the library geek in me.
Wait, Topher Grace is going to be a Spiderman villian? That's going to be freaking hilarious.
Sounds like my little boy is becoming a man. Great news on the grades! Keep up the good work. If you're doing that well in your tougher subjects, I can only assume that you will do well with English and Enterprise as well. I am very proud of you and what you are accomplishing. You'll have to tell me more about Business Information Systems. If that's what you want to study--then go for it. Talk things over with your Dad--he gives good advice.
I've heard a different rumor about both Church and Grace in the next Spider-man movie. However, what I've heard is a major spoiler (if true). So, I won't repeat it.
My Spiderman info came from an interview with Kirsten Dunst. Your comment prompted me to research more rumors. I found a couple that could coincide with my rumor and a couple that couldn't. None of those seemed to have a direct source included however. E-mail me the one you saw, as I don't much care about spoilers.
Business Information Systems doesn't sound boring at all to me. Quite the contrary, it's the closest thing to being a programmer while with a business emphasis. More of the requirements writer as a subject matter expert. Just be sure to be good to the programmers you'd work with, since you have other programmers all around you!
I note that COBOL is a required class for that major. That makes some sense, but ... AACK!
I also wouldn't be surprised but that you'd have to study some of what Matt's doing in Software Engineering right now. Just at a higher level.
I'm not sure if this implies official confirmation, but on IMDb Grace and Church are listed as Venom and Sandman for Spiderman 3.
No, not confirmation necessarily. IMDB is updated by readers, not necessarily anyone official. So they could just be going on rumors.
