I got a rock

Guess I'll have to buy my own candy.

So, after the Sox won the world series there was the predictable riot throughout the campus and surrounding area. I tagged along just to see the insanity. There were lots of street signs bent over, and some dumbasses tipped over a trailer and almost hit a moving car with it. I left when I heard the riot was headed towards I-55. Around six the next morning, I briefly woke up and noticed that there was no power in the dorm. I later learned this was somehow a result of the riot. Dumbasses.

Rocky Horror Picture Show was awesome. There were scantily clad women. The audience participation adds even more hilarity to the movie, although I don't think the props added much. The Combat Club Halloween party was also great. I went as Death's loser younger brother.I just wore my ISU shirt and a jacket, put on a death mask and topped it off with my Redbirds cap. It worked out pretty well. Not much worth writing about at the party. Just a cool party.

I finally started CoH again this morning. The one thing I noticed is that they finally fixed death animations which was a pet peeve of mine. Now, a villain will actually interact with terrain instead of just falling through it. I look forward to starting the villainy goodness.

That's all for now. I have to go out and wait for the Great Pumpkin.

Yeah, the new ragdoll physics are pretty cool. As a side effect, Knockback/down powers got better because of them, since it takes a bit longer for them to fly, and then the animation to get back up to a little longer as well. Overall, very cool. Also, I don't know if you were playing Gnome Cop, but the fire blast graphics are improved as well and they look pretty damn cool (He is a fire blaster, right?).

The only thing I saw of the riot was the maintenance guys cleaning up some graffiti the next day. Even that isn't entirely cleaned up yet, though. People are stupid.

Be careful of being around those riots--they have a way of turning nasty pretty quickly and innocent people get hurt. Glad to hear you left when it started toward I-55.

Poor Ryan--gets a rock. Mommy will probably have some leftover Halloween candy at home if you come this weekend with the girls. Otherwise, I guess you will have to buy your own.

You should be glad they at least know where your power-outage came from... we just get random ones from time to time... hell... we had one on the second move-in day... I felt sorry for the people trying to move into the 10 floor... after I stopped laughing...

Apparantly my dorm was the only one that didn't have people stuck in elevators...
